If you don't STAND FOR SOMETHING, you will FALL FOR ANYTHING

In a country where tyranny and injustice are the only means of the ruling elites’ existence, the only option the people have is to vote them out. Sabah UMNO/BN is dead convinced that its Federal Leaders are Saints.

Can UMNO/BN Sabah tell us, why Sabah which is rich in natural resources such as oil and timber and cash crop such as oil palm etc is the 2nd poorest state in Malaysia?

The founding fathers’ of Sabah gave their lives, so that the people of Sabah would live and enjoy the gifts of GOD. Now these gifts have been robbed off them and the people marginalized and treated as 2nd class citizens.

UMNO/BN Sabah Ministers’ have mastered the art of rhetorics and have been lying through their teeth. In short, they have been parroting their political masters and still believe Sabahans are MORONS. They call for the history of Malaysia's formation to be included in our school history books; the question is "which history are these UMNO/BN parrots referring to"?

The one that has marginalized Sabahans and down-graded them to second class citizens, or the one that Sabah is currently the second poorest state in Malaysia because of these very same politicians who have robbed the people?

If at all the people had felt that these UMNO/BN Sabah "Leaders" were made of steel when they "conned" Sabahans into believing that they were fighting for their rights, the people have now awoken to know that these "Leaders" were in actual fact out to "steal".

To change Malaysia for the better, Sabah in particular, we must now change the government. In the words of Sabah's Minister of Tourism and Environment, Masidi Manjun "there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all policy. It has to be tailor-made to suit the pecularities of Sabah and Sarawak". While I may agree with him, I wonder if it’s just political rhetoric to hoodwink the people and defuse the situation.

I recall Masidi Manjun and Bernard Dompok lying through their teeth, when they said they had NO KNOWLEDGE of a RM 2.8 Billion Kaiduan Dam in Penampang, until I produced the LETTER OF AWARD issued by the very same government they are working with.
So, why should Sabahans believe them now?

Sabahans are patriotic to the nation and will fight to their last drop of blood to defend the nation. And they are always reminded to adhere to and believe in the Constitution. My question is, which constitution are we talking about NOW?

Tun Fuad Stephens had called for the review of the provisions in the constitution of the country because it did not seem to reflect what was intended by the original Malaysian agreement. Look what happened to him and his cabinet - "dead”. Was it political assassination? The people of Sabah have been oppressed to the extend that they have to BEG for development funds and any meaningful funds comes only once every 5 years during the elections. Sabahans must not and should not be beggars in their own land, They MUST RISE and demand back what rightfully belongs to them.

BN Sabah partners of late have been at each other's throats; which indicates huge cracks within. Ironically, no one has the testicles to say..."we are leaving Barisan Nasional". Why not so? It's obvious ... projects and hand-outs of course. I heard from the grapevine recently that Sabah's Chief Minister Musa Aman and aspiring candidate for Chief Minister Shafie Apdal (PM Najib's "blue-eyed boy") were in a heated argument over projects monopolized by Musa in Semporna. Either way, volcanic eruptions are about to happen.

Sabahans are ready for change. The Sibu, Sarawak by-elections has opened the floodgates with renewed vigour that, it is now possible for the very same tsunami that hit West Malaysia in the 12th general elections to strike again here in East Malaysia.

Sabahans must first change by saying “NO” to bribery and UMNO/BN's corruptive RM50 notes as inducement just to vote for them. Are we tradable commodities … and insultingly … worth just RM50?

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR ) will be having its 6th Annual Congress on the 26th-30th in Kota Bahru and many issues will be deliberated, all under the name of strengthening the party. My question is, does PKR exist in Sabah?

If the answer is in the affirmative, then their leadership in Sabah must be "transparent" and vocal, as their silence may denote non-existence.

Who is actually calling the shots in PKR Sabah? I urge the Leadership to re-visit the problems that are plaguing PKR Sabah to ensure the Party remains relevant in facing the 13th general election. There is a leadership problem that must be addressed immediately, or all hell may break loose.

The people are watching, and they don't like what they see.

I wish to convey my warm wishes and greetings to all my Kadazan brothers and sisters...KOTOBIAN TADAU KAAMATAN,and to my Dayak brothers and sisters..HAPPY GAWAI.May we rise together as one and redeemed back our dignity and claim what rightfully belongs to us.

As to the problems in PKR Sabah, you're correct. The leadership in Sabah is useless to the core.Trojan horses of UMNO within and members who are still eating from the hands of UMNO/BN.I will forward you their names through your blog email.Saya betul betul malu, kerana ada ahli yang hanya mengunakan nama parti sebagai landasan untuk glamour saja.Ada juga seorang PENIPU yang masih ketua cabang.

Kudos to you Saudara Ronnie,we are behind you all the way.

They couldnot even see that there is no such race of Malay in the whole of Sabah, and yet, they embraced UMNO as if UMNO is the best thing that ever happened to them. Ahdui, even KDM had joined UMNO???? and kissed their hands. Sabahan are such a confused lot.

  22. Reading from what is going on in Sabah now it seems to me that there are some signs of an independence movement in Sabah but then with all the PTIs and the outstanding Sabah claim, I just wonder!
Or maybe Sabah needs to go back to its older style of autonomous government as stipulated under the 20 points.
Whatever it is I pray that the situation will improve in Malaysia as a whole, because with all the political bickering, and squandering, Malaysia will eventually also end up like Thailand recently.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Be it 20 points, 8 points. no point, autonomy, malaysian agreement or whatever they called it, these are just tools, slogans and springboards for poltical opportunists to return to power that they used to enjoy at our expense.

Those who are portraying heroes and saviours of sabah rights were once senior politicians and VVIP helming at the top not too long ago.

What happened whent they were within BN? How many of them dared to go against BN and UMNO wishes when they were in BN? In sabah politics, only a handful few had the gut to turn the other way when they were with the ruking goivernment. They may have short memory. But People remember.

What happened to the 20 points ansd malaysian agreement autonomy and the eroded state rights when they were at the top? Did they demand their masters at the central government to respect and honour sabah rights? NO, NO, No.

People still remember that no too long ago just before the last state election, SAPP president was heaping praises on musa aman and UMNO leaders misleading sabahans to believe that BN under musa aman was the best CM for sabah.

Only when they are in political wilderness that they seek shelter flashing 20 points and malaysian agreement and sabah rights.

    Enough is enough.

Now they are preying, probing and waiting for the right moment ti make the next opportunitsic move for a kill.

In one particular case, DAP hiew king chiew may be right when he wanted sabahan not to trust SAPP.

If yong teck lee could do it to PBS and BN when PBS and BN were weak and most vulnerable politically, he will do it to anyone for anything in order to get back to power. He only want to be CM.

    Beware and be warned.

Make Malaysia A World Model For Religious Tolerance - Najib

KUALA LUMPUR, May 28 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak urged Malaysians to take a moderate approach in their outlook towards the country's multi-religious setting and make Malaysia a world model for religious tolerance and racial harmony.

"I urged Malaysians to join hands with me to make Malaysia a model of religious tolerance and racial harmony for the rest of the world to see," he said at a Wesak Day celebration and open house at the Buddhist Maha Vihara temple in Brickfields, here on Friday.

Najib is the third prime minister to have visited the 115-year-old temple after Tunku Abdul Rahman and Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

Present were his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, Transport Minister Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat, Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin, representatives from other religions, foreign dignitaries, guests as well as thousands of Buddhist devotees.

Najib added that Malaysians should avoid engaging in any kind of extremism which he said could hurt the country and hamper its visions to become a high-income nation.

"We are faced with many challenges today including the eradication of poverty as well as transforming Malaysia into a high-income and developed nation within 10 years.

"And for us to face these challenges, we must recognise the basic principles of democracy, which is, rights must be balanced with responsibility," he added.

Najib said Malaysians must also use their wisdoms to reach out and understand the rights of all citizens in practising their religions in dignity and without harassment.

The Prime Minister said Malaysians should used wisdoms and compassion to help one another regardless of ethnicities and backgrounds.

"We have to accept that in order for all of us to be happy, sometimes we have to sacrifice something for the common good.

"If our nation pursues the virtue of contentment, there is no reason why we cannot achieve greater success as a nation," he added.

    Malaysians lack nationalism - Razali
    2010/05/30

    Share |
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians still have weak spirit of nationalism and this can be an obstacle to attaining developed nation status, Youth and Sports Deputy Minister Datuk Razali Ibrahim said.

He said Malaysia should look at Japan, South Korea and Singapore as the countries had succeeded with strong spirit of nationalism.

"This is what we are lacking," he said adding people in developed countries rarely talk bad about their own countries but would defend them.

"Singapore is the best example," Razali who is also Umno Youth deputy chief said citing the "kiasu" (afraid of losing) attitude among Singaporeans.

He said "kiasu" was not something negative although some Malaysians found it odd and called Singaporeans "kiasu".

"Kiasu is the nationalism spirit for Singapore. It means that weaknesses will be corrected without smearing the country's good name. Kiasu is the key or secret to Singapore''s success."

Razali said the people's confidence in the country would reflect the confidence of foreigners adding Singapore would protect the interest of its investors.

The nationalism spirit of Thais and Indonesians were also stronger than Malaysians despite the anti-government demonstrations which ended recently.

Indonesia also had its share of problems but nationalism among the people was not one of them.

"But we have lost the nationalism spirit. Even the 1Malaysia concept to make the people and nation developed is attacked by some people. Will running down your own country make others respect us more?"

Razali said such an attitude among Malaysians would automatically make others have low opinion or lose confidence in the country.

Order to probe 25 'Sabah snatch thieves'

Published on: Thursday, June 03, 2010

THE State Government wants police to conduct a thorough investigation on the 25 snatch thieves believed from Sabah that were caught during TV3 Jom Heboh Carnival in Kangar, Perlis on Sunday.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said the Government viewed the matter very seriously and wants the authority concerned to ascertain the true identities of the snatch thieves. This is because in the past, many "Sabahans" caught by the police for committing crimes in West Malaysia have been identified as foreigners holding Malaysian identification documents.

"We are asking the authority to conduct further investigation and to take further action," he said.

According to the June 1 report, the 25 snatch thieves had family connections with one another that included a mother and daughter.

Police found 37 necklaces, 14 lockets and nine wrist and ankle bracelets worth about RM26,500 from the group amassed during a snatch theft spree for two days near the Kangar Stadium Utama.

The suspects comprised 12 men and 13 women with ages ranging from 18 to 46. Their targets were mostly children between the ages of three and six.

Police moved in on the group when they were resting in their rooms in a budget hotel after conducting their crime operation.

Perlis police chief, Datuk Ghazali Mohd Amin said initial investigation showed that the snatch thieves were from Sabah and all had family connections.

He said the group came to Kangar with only one purpose and aim - to snatch valuable items from unsuspecting victims.

The group's modus operandi starts with several members surrounding the victim and playing with him or her before snatching the jewellery.

The suspects are currently being remanded for four days for further investigation under Section 379 of the Penal Code.

On other developments, Musa said there would be a special prayer session in conjunction with the King's visit to Sabah at the State Mosque on June 4 while the following day, a tea reception at 2.30pm at the State Istana.
