ILLEGALS TO ASSIST PAKATAN IN THE 13TH GENERAL ELECTIONS?

PARTI Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) President cum Sabah's PKR Interim Chairperson today made a ridiculous statement in the press (Daily Express) by stating that illegals will be issued with Permanent Residence Status when it comes to power in Sabah. Is Wan Azizah ‘fishing’ for votes from the ‘illegals’ in the coming 13th General Elections?

The issuance of fraudulent MyKads in the famous ‘Project M was not only immoral, illegal and an act of treason, but also tantamount to selling off our beloved country. The matter reach it's point of no return when the coronation of the ‘Sulu Sultan’ took place on Malaysian soil.

The call for a Royal Commission of Inquiry by Pakatan Rakyat was highly commendable in resolving the illegal issue in Sabah. However, the call by Wan Azizah in granting PR Status to the very ‘Instant Malaysian Bumiputra's’ by fraudulent means, if it comes to power amounts to hoodwinking Sabahans, who once felt that PKR was sincere in it's reforms.

This is more ‘out from the frying pan and back into the fire’. In the name of the state's sovereignty and safe guarding the state's security, how can PKR or for that matter Pakatan Rakyat backtrack their reform agenda and subscribe to ‘legalizing’ the illegals by providing them PR Status?

Is this a sign of desperation by PKR, that it has lost all moral ground to spearhead a legitimate government for the people, by the people and with the people, by resorting to such unethical means? The ‘mother’ of all issues which has plaque the people of Sabah for years is about to escalate if at all PR Status is being issued to these illegal’s.

What was Wan Azizah thinking or what were her State PKR Leaders advising her, does PKR Sabah honestly believe that Sabahans are imbeciles?

No bonafide Malaysian Sabahan will stomach such a stand by PKR or Pakatan Rakyat.Having said that, is DAP or PAS as coalition partners in full agreement with Wan Azizah's stand? DAP and PAS must come clean and explain their position to Sabahans, if they are accepting and agreeing with the statement by the PKR President. With the impending elections looming just around the corner, Pakatan Rakyat maybe history and support would surely be reduced tremendously, and support for a local based party maybe the only avenue out for Sabahans,or perhaps an alliance between a local based party with DAP, PAS with asistance from the Malaysian Civil Liberties Movement( MCLM ) chaired by Raja Petra Kamarudin.

  2. 3. I think this is a solution - for illegals having in Sabah. How are the police & immigration can track them with no proper documenatation? Illigals are required as a workforce in Sabah - there are not enough Malaysian to work as labours. You can control them in Sabah & check thier movement & activity. How many time you need to catch them & deport them - it cost money & they keep coming back. There have to be a point when you can take a count of no of illegals in Sabah so a proper control can be done - to move forward & block further entry.

  4. I can understand the emotive issue of illegal people coming in, issued illegal IC, and then outvoting Sabahans. Before the author jumps right in to whack PKR or Pakatan for that matter, I think he/she should take a step back and consider the context within which such a proposal is made. PR is granted to foreigners who are bringing economic development to the state, and have stayed for a while. If the illegal immigrants meet both these conditions, it would be a humane recognition for their contribution to Sabah economy. The fact that Pakatan has called for a royal commission to deal with fraudulent issuance of MyKads to illegal immigrants so that they vote for BN is not inconsistent with this proposal to provide PR status. In fact, by granting PR status, the same foreigner cannot be fraudulently issued MyKad, and hence cannot be utilised by BN as a vote bank. I think there is merit in the proposal.

  5. RCK is so happy to jump on this issue on PTI being offered permanenet resident, which is a non-issue, since any proposal to buku jingga in the convention would have to be agreed upon by the state leaders in mpn and then by pakatan rakyat partners.

But, we can not expect more from RCK since he is very green in real politics and he is an angry person now, especially against pkr president. Remember the issue on communication director.

His strength or rather his weakness is to criticize for the sake of criticizing in order to self-promote himself better than all politicians but only to expose his ignorance and weakness in politics. He has had any idea as what to do other than writing big and bombastic words

RCK has been talking big in his writing, and that was about all he could do. Talk is cheap.

Anyway, his pkr membership was suspended by pkr disciplinary committee recently. He has threatened to sue Wan Aziza for defamation. He has something personal against the pkr president. He is angry and embarassed out of his own doing.

Now he thinks pkr leaders in Sabah are stupid to accept PTI, and only he is patriotic and loves sabah more than them.

At least we begin to see some ideas coming out from pkr sabah. Yes, room for improvement. Who doesnot make mistake?

  6. Ronnie is himself a stupid person of the mental age of 5 in term of political maturity, not the Sabahans as Ronnie has insulted.

  7. the illegals cannot be allowed PR. Already they are receiving PR illegally through the Project IC and if illegals are given PR openly, would you imagine the influx of illegals that would take this advantage to come to sabah as they have done for the past decades. This would make it easier for the illegals to monopoly the natives in every aspects imaginable be it economy or politics. With the increase in the number of the once illegal now permanent residents, it won't be long before they would for a larger piece of the pie, with their status as permanet residents. Not even the natives or the federal governments can refuse them as they would eventually take over the demographic of sabah. Then again PKR would benefit greatly from this as the illegals owe them their PR and would sworn their loyalty to PKR. By then any appeal made by the natives would be ignored and tossed away like rubbish. Above it is the cry of the people not the illegals that any party should listen to and follow as that is the basis of democracy. Can you imagine just how many would come to sabah and claiming as illegals and given a free pass to the resources of the land below the wind. There is no such thing as political maturity as anything political would be rendered irrelevent to the people of sabah. It is the voice of the people that counts.

  8. If foreigners are qualified under our law to be given p r status, what is so wrong about granting p r to them. Nothing to shout about ronnie. You are just being personal and blinded by your anger. Go agead, praise PAS, DAP, SAPP, SNAP and even UMNO. But I do not think they want to have anything to do with you knowing you....You know what i mean. You would now put PKR down in every oppotunity that you grab. One day, people know that you will do the same to other parties such as PAS, DAP, SAPP.

  9. As Sabahans,we fully support Ronnie's voice in speaking on our behalf. He has been very consistent since day 1,and that is fighting for the people and never back down even taking PKR or BN to task.

As Sabahans we despised the presence of the illegals in Sabah, illegals are always illegals and there is no two ways about it.Why are the very people in PKR who's comments appearing here all of a sudden are in support of the illegals issued with PR Status? Are you traitors of Sabah now,who once fought against the illegals, hypocrites?

Our word of gratitude to Ronnie, keep up the fight you are not alone in this fight,Sabahans are behind you all the way.Don't be disturb by the comments on you by these lickers who are only interested in their own agenda.HIDUP RONNIE HIDUP SABAH.PKR KAU BOLIH BALIK SEMANANJUNG,and the Sabahans who support PKR's stand in this issue can also follow them.

    Justice Pao.

  10. This illegal problem is never going to disappear in Sabah, like it or not. History does has a habit of repeating itself, when there is a demand with lucratic returns, economic migration will happen, legally if properly managed & illegally if you have a corrupt establishment. A large portion of our legal Sabah population were economic migrants before. We must wake to the fact that these, not so recent, legal or mostly illegal migrants are here to stay and hopefully they will assimulate into the Sabah unique culture and way of life in the next few generations. Granting PR to these fraudulant Mycard holders is a great idea and why should BN be the only party to benefit from this dreary situation created by them.
